Not all hunger is caused by the stomach. At For the Love we fill the stomach, so we can feed the soul.

For The Love is a 501(c)3 non-profit that exists to feed the hungry, cultivate community, and fight poverty.

We do this by...

Feeding People.

It’s what we do. Weekly we will bring organizations, community groups, sports teams, businesses, families, and even your crazy Uncle Dan’s barbershop quartet together to do one thing. Feed people. The group for the week will prepare, cook, serve, and most importantly love on neighbors that come. Gathering together to share a meal, some laughs, and a bit of hope.

Loving People.

We want to show up for people. To meet them where they are. No matter what their past, present, or future look like. No matter the circumstances. No matter if they join us once or every time.

We can’t fix everything. But we can show up. We can choose to love well. We can choose to invite everyone to the table and show them that they aren’t alone.

Empowering People.

We want to see our neighbors in need take steps towards upwards mobility. We believe that this happens through relationships, connections to the right resources, and support. We want For The Love to be a space that this happens, every week over a shared meal.

Meet the Dreamers.

Meredith, Jennifer, and Melinda. Meredith is our steady constant, Jennifer is the dreamer, and Melinda can get talked in to almost anything 😉.

Our sweet little friendship has blossomed over the years while running and dreaming together. We are big believers in cheering each other on, listening, encouraging, and keeping each other accountable...even when the going gets tough! And let’s talk about a tough season!

We are passionate about living life in community and serving others that are struggling with food insecurity. Our dream is that For the Love will be a food truck that will give the community amazing opportunities to come together to serve and love on each other. That people leave full of food and hope.
